I put in a valve stem to check tank pressure or air up tank with a compressor if so desired. The master cylinder lid is a 1/4" aluminum plate with a rubber gasket. I left the spray handle in to easily relieve pressure from the master cylinder without having to bleed pressure from the tank. I'm not sure if any of the effect of brake fluid on the spray handle. The spray handle can easily be removed if there is a compatibility problem. I do like the idea of the clear hose to verify that fluid and not air is being pushed into the master cylinder.
Cool Looks good , how did it work ?
Wonder if Wally World had to order more sprayers ?

Thank you....Alex
I used my small butane torch and acid core solder.
(I think my large soldering iron might have worked also but I didn't feel like waiting for it to heat up.)

This is for somebody that has a compressor. I made up a cap and used some rubber to seal it to the master cylinder. Rogers cap looks better than what I did. I drilled a hole in the plate and made a small hole in the rubber underneath. I used a pipe tap to screw the air fitting into the plate. I sent about 10 psi to the master cylinder and after many many tries I finally got some fluid out of the calipers.

Every once in a while I find a master bleeds better after pushing the pedal down slightly , as though one of the seals is blocking a passage.

Maybe Noonie can answer why that would happen since he has cut a cylinder up.

Here is the cutaway.
The primary and secondary pressure seals are about 1/32" behind the compensating port, so there will be that much movement of the pistons before fluid starts to move and starts building pressure.
When pressure bleeding, you are only using the compensating port to feed fluid to the system. The hole is very small, also approx 1/32" or less (didn't measure it) so bleeding can take a while if the lines etc are empty.

The master cylinder is on and the brakes bleed. The clear plastic hose works well on the bottle to master cylinder side. Should the bottle run out of brake fluid air bubbles are easily detected -- been there did that. Also on the caliper side the clear hose lets you see that the air is out and you have a nice stream of brake fluid.

Speaking of brakes, here are the "precision tools" I use to keep the pistons in the calipers when I am working on them. Nothing but the best in my shop!

Whoops, meant to put this in the low cost thread, sorry!
