78 Vacuum Components - Need Help Identifying
I have a 78 and there is a vacuum piece with a diaphram that baloons in and out that's right beside distributor. Trying to find out what it is called so I can order replacement. Thanks

it's actually called the cruise control servo. to test if it is any good, pull the vacuum tube off the rear , then pull the bellows out from the front side (the carb side) and place your finger over the nozzle you removed the tube from before releasing the bellows. if the bellows stays expanded until you remove your finger from the vacuum tube nozzle, the servo is good. if it loses the vacuum "seal", the bellows material is leaking and it is bad. it is one of the few parts that isn't being reproduced at this point (at least that has been my experience in repairing my system on my 78). i had to find a good used one. expect to pay $75-100 for a really good used on. they are not the same in later years as the later ones have a black plastic case on them instead of the silver metal case used in the 78
