They finally let me go at lunch time yesterday.
I'm still pretty out of it - but here in spirit.

I was a Harley Davidson service manager for 3 years. In that time I saw literally DOZENS of wrecks. Every wreck was the same story....they didnt see me, they cut me off, they pulled in front of me....all of them had one thing in common....the motorcycle was traveling faster than the car, and came up from behind it or perpendicular. Drivers SEE the motorcycle, but the dont expect you to be in their blind spot in .5 seconds. As for the T-bone style accidents...well, any driver (bike or cage) should be looking both ways twice before going thru an intersection. My point...drive defensively. ALWAYS assume the other guy doesnt see you. And for fawks sake, stay out of their blind spots and always have a way out if a car cuts you off. 2 wheels or 4, the principles are the same. Stay alert, stay alive.
