Time for a makeover
So I've been piddling around the past few weeks. I repainted the wheel spokes silver, which has gotten me thinking about repainting the car. It was originally Corvette Bronze, but repainted the current (who knows) color about 13-14 years ago.
I'm soliciting votes on my color choices. Since the Firethorn Red interior looks great, I'm going to go with an exterior color that compliments it.
Also, it has a big block hood. I have a nicely rebuilt, modified, original 327 motor in it, but I have the bug to install a ZZ 427 or ZZ 454. Maybe later.
I am grafting a 67 427 scoop on top of the existing hood, a la Motion Speed. Had that on a 68 back about 40 years ago, and it looked great.
Anyway, back to color combinations. Please feel free to place your vote, or make any other suggestions.
1. Black with silver stripe
2. Black with red stripe.
3. Silver with Black stripe.
4. Bergundy with silver stripe.
5. Bergundy with black stripe.
Here is my car with gold spoke wheels.

The wife (who I did decide to keep, along with the Vette) likes this color.
Maybe I'll put a white stripe on it and repaint the same color?
