Default Finally got a C3

The wife wanted a covertable sports car for her 50th birthday so we got a C5. The bug bit me hard and since I always wanted a "hot rod" and liked the 70ish body style (I did not know that was a C3) I started looking. This is what I finally found. I look forward to reading your posts so I can learn the ins and outs of the C3.

Beautiful ride!!! Gotta love a big block with side pipes. What you need to do now is smoke them little tires and go a little bigger and fill up the wheel wells. Just my 2 cents.

Dont have the ole glasses on but that looks like a 68 push button in that door. Early one at that with the forward mounted mirror. Real nice looking ride. Best of luck with it.

I don't like the empty wheel wells either. I'm not sure what I want to do, either correct wheels and tires or keep the wheels and taller tires.

You did very well. To address the wheel sizes, here is one of my all time favorites. I've modeled my 69's stance and wheel size off of RED73's Vette.

You missed the "covertable sports car" by that much. Nice t-top coupe though.

Hi f,
VERY nice looking 68!
Like the color too.
I'll bet you turn a lot more heads with your car, than she does with hers!!!!!!
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Congrats. Looks good!
The back can easily be lowered, note the 2 bolts on spring ends. What's tire size?
