Speedometer not working
my speedometer wont work and i took the cable off and the little red square inside is not spinning. i assume it has to but when i tried to grab it the whole braided line came out of the tube and it was about 2 ft long. is it broken??? or should it be 2 ft long and clip in somewhere. seems to be broken but the end is round and smooth so i wasnt sure. Alos does someone have a pic of the glovebox door open so i can see how to install the latch on the top inside for the **** to lock into? thanks

i will check for cruise control i have an extra lever on the left side besides the steering tilt so i believe i have it. do i just unhook the whole cable and re run a new one or is there more involved? i looked up a new one and its all a solid one piece cable??????

Be careful. They sell two different ones, one with cruise and one without cruise. The one without cruise control is longer and goes from your tranny right to your spedo. I went through 3 cables before I discovered my cruise control was bad. Got a new cruise control from NAPA and everything is fine now.
Yes, just unhook the cable and make sure the new cable is lubricated and install it. I got my cable at advance auto. Had to get it shipped but it only took one day.
