this is one of the good things about living here in the Midlands of SC, we rarely get snow (last year was a freak 12" snowfall) and i can drive mine all year.................once it's put back together anyways lol. hell, i even ride a motorcycle all year, unless it drops below freezing during the day.

Hey Crazy, You'll need to get the car back out and put some miles on it for some awesome fall cruising, that's one of the best times to get out the Vette and go for some long rides enjoying the cooler weather seeing those great colors with the wife.

Riggs.

Get yourself the Gerbing heated gear. I ride comfortably into the single digits using mine.

the Norton and the Honda are both cold blooded beasts, both are high compression, kick only. once i get the R1150R Rockster back together i WILL ride all year long, still getting the parts together to rebuild the rear drive unit and replace the output shaft on the trans.

I've been doing this for 30+ years and I hate to do it every year but it's a must. I put mine in the car Bag with some desiccant to absorb any moisture. Putting a damp or wet car in the bag is a no, no. I usually wait for a day with low humidity to do mine, but they are getting few and far between. My 72 is going away soon and the Z06 the next week end.
Wow, youre bringing back some nasty memories with this pic. It was in the 70's here today. Hoping for at least another month and a half or two months before the snowblower comes out. Some good cruisin weather yet. At least these cars run cooler this time of year.
