Am I only one here that put away there car for the winter allready. Parked & prep. it today for the winter months to come. My wife called me crazy. and put a hole 283 miles on it this year.
I guess living that close to Canada it gets colder sooner than NJ, but I'm planning to drive the vert until November and the coupe whenever it doesn't snow or get below 40. I envy CF members who dont have driving seasons!
Don't tell me what to do, you're not the boss of me!!! I'll call you crazy if I feel like it, not because you told me too! BTW, I live in Massachusetts, and I drive my 'vette right up until the end of Nov., maybe even the beginning of Dec.. Also, you're crazy, but I'm only saying so because I feel like it, not because you told me to tell you that, ya crazy ijit.

had mine only couple months and already cranked up 500 miles
You're crazy! Way too many awesome fall colors coming soon to put mine away. A fall foliage drive through the mountains is a highlight of every year for me! Oh, and I never put mine away for the winter. We'll catch a clear day where the roads are clean, so I'll take mine out for a nice winter driive too.
No I don't think you're crazy. In your neighborhood, and mine, winter is fast approaching. We could get some snow in the next few weeks. If you really care about your car, and how you store it, now is the best time to put it away, not after it starts to snow. I've been doing this for 30+ years and I hate to do it every year but it's a must. I put mine in the car Bag with some desiccant to absorb any moisture. Putting a damp or wet car in the bag is a no, no. I usually wait for a day with low humidity to do mine, but they are getting few and far between. My 72 is going away soon and the Z06 the next week end.

Wow....that seems so unreal. Living in Phoenix we forget that lots of vettes hibernate for 6 months a year. For us down here, this is the perfect time of year to take the top off the vette and pull out the Harley for some miles.
