I thank ya'll for posting some of the corvettes that were at barrett jackson this past week. We are looking for some feedback. We built the 1972 vette that was red with the black hood and 19" wheels. It was lot #342. This is what we do so just looking for some opinions.
Didn't see that one on the block but pulled it up on the BJ site to check it out. Looks like you got a good price at least in my opinion. Under the hood looks beautiful and the car looks like it was done with quality and care. I am more of a fan of an original non-mod so would have preferred an original looking hood and wheels. I would think based on $36.3k, the car must have shown real well in person.
Thanks for some of the early comments. We really wet sanded and buffed that paint mirror smooth. We wanted a different pro touring kind of look for the car. Remebering that the 1972 vette only had about what 190 hp lol. We wanted somewhat of that trans am look to the car, but not going full on race car look. We do these and all kinds of restorations and sales. If you go to www.mwclassicinc.com you will see some of the cars that we broker as well as be able to get infomation on restorations. For example, we are doing a complete frame off restoration on a 70 olds 442 vert pro touring car. This is going to be one of the nicest in the country. We do complete concourse restorations as well. Thanks again for the early comments and the posting of the link. I look forward to more.
Personally I love resto mods way better than originals and this one looks good. Don't get me wrong they look great stock...but I think all cars should be "your own".
I 1st saw this car over on www.pro-touring.com web site. Jason Rushforth had posted it in the wheels/tires section. It really shows how the stance with the "right" set of wheels and tires along with some paint accents can DRAMATICALLY change the "look" of a car. As far as what the car went for based on the pictures I think you would be hard pressed to build it yourself to that level of quality for that money. It's a very nice looking modded Corvette.
Well done!
Thanks again guys for all of the nice comments. even about the pinto lol. Send me a PM if you would want us to do some work for you and we can talk privately.
