Default Protecting Body While Removing Engine?

Looks like I might be pulling the engine out of my '71 soon. Years ago I recall seeing a cloth cover that was cut for the engine compartment. It was designed to protect the front clip's pain while working in the engine compartment. Any idea what that's called, and who might sell it?

Thanks for the help.

Any old bed comforter will do the same thing, just steal one from your wifes' stash.

Go to Harbor Freight and get a shipping blanket for $8.00 and cut and tape to the front end.

Hi,
I like the idea of the comforter or packing blanket.... I'd do a couple of layers to be safe.
Regards,
Alan
