Hey All - New to the C3 world, not Corvette's. Have a 2010 C6 as well. Am buying this one and was wondering if anyone knows this car. 69 with a 454, very clean. Seems to be well optioned. A/C, P/S, P/B, Power Antenna, Hardtop, Posi, Headrests. From Clearwater/Tampa area. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Hey Alan - I had the car inspected by a knowledgable Corvette guy. He said if I didn't buy it he was going to. It is a non numbers matching car. Car is a factory BB car but has been changed to a 454. Not sure what the black box is but will let you know when I see the car. I should receive it middle of the week. All suspension, brakes, gaskets and bushings have been restored or replaced. New exhaust and headers as well. Interior was recently done but not sure how long ago. A/C blows cold and everything works on the car, even the clock. Pretty excited about it. Been looking for a while and this was the first one that I really liked.

It's an interesting car to my eye because it looks so stock from above but has lots of changes under the hood, and on the chassis.
I saw your other post about waiting for it.... are you going to be able to sleep?... or are you sitting out on the curb looking for it?

I am waiting for it. I just bought it yesterday and it still has to go to the shop for a complete service and check up then to the detail shop. Only about 100 miles away so I anticipate it arriving before next weekend unless something major is found to be wrong with it.
Be very careful! Looks faked to me!! (the background)
