I'm considering getting personalized tags for my '73 Roadster. Not sure what would be clever/not cheesy. Any ideas?

Theres many threads on this already as I've posted mine (ONEOF2) a few times. Do a thread search for "vanity plates" and you will at least see what's out there and may give you some ideas. Good luck.

Mine is 22350VC. Doesn't mean anything to many people but the police here recognize it as the California Vehicle Code citation for the basic speed law. It does have some unusual results.

My first 3 selections were taken, and I wasn't swift enough then to do alternate spellings.....so I went with 7T. I like it, not too many 2 character plates around, even the judges have 3 character plates.

The girls at the court asked if it was my brand, nope my brand is KT. I think they figured out what 7T was.

Do tell! Sounds interesting.

I have SPD KLLS on my current truck (it's been on about 6 of my cars now), and SPD KLS on my motorcycle. Again, same way, yields...."interesting" results sometimes!

It's a '73 Roadster.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I find myself reading any vanity plate I see.

I picked up my historic plates as soon as I got my car. This is the plate they handed me...My initials are RC! Now I think I will nickname my car the X1

On my mustang I have "IMBATMN". I wanted "cybr4n6" (my area of specialization) but it was already taken.

You won't believe the number of people I see taking a picture of my car's plate as I driving or stopped at light.

I haven't decided what to do for the corvette when it arrives.

I have AC427 on my 69. My car has factory AC.

I was going to go with 427AC but it was already taken.

My other ideas were 5MPG and iluvgas

On my 73 I made it simple.....1973 centered in tag. Worked for me!

Stay in tune....

AC 427 is a nice plate, but when I see it I think of the actual AC 427 (for those that don't know, the original Cobra started with the body of the British sports car, "AC".

I tried this one for a while:

But now I am running this year of manufacture plate (even tho my car was "manufactured" in 1967)
