nothing missing. You can buy a wiper cover for it for like 50 bucks from one of the corvette vendors

No. What you see is what you got from St. Louis -- only cleaner.

You need ignition sheilding for the distributor.

I didnt like this area on my vettes so I bought the black plastic wiper area cover from a supporting vendor. I really think it cleans up the area and hides the internals of the wiper system.

Use a brush to loosen up any debris, then vacuum out dirt/leaves. Then spray tire foam liberally in there . . .there's really nothing you can hurt. You can either wipe it to even it out - -or let it dry. A couple of coats and you'd be amazed how it improves the area.

As noted, you can buy a cover for it, but it's not the best designed area on our C3s . . .IMO

Interferece. Without the shielding you can pick up ignition noise, especially in the AM band, from the HEI. Usually much less or no interference in the FM band without it.

I had one on all my later C3s. I think its a no brainer. Fits perfectly, doesnt affect the wipers, very secure with 2 screws. Much better looking than trying to make that junk catcher area look better.
