Hi
i am new to the forum
i am looking for information on decoding big block starters.
I have a 69 big block and would like to see if my starter is correct for the year of car.
Thanks terry
Hi Terry,
Welcome!
The starter case has information stamped into it.
Example:
The part number...118400
The year... a single digit... 9
The month... a single letter...A
The day of the month...23
There's usually one more number but ?
The Delco Remy USA
What info do you see on your starter?
Regards,
Alan
