Any news from Dean? I see lots of pics on CNN, looks bad for those people.
I hope everything turns out OK.

So far we are dry in our area but hoping it stays that way, many are not so lucky and have been flooded for a month.

If the water is 1 meter my driveway is raised from the road so it will be up to the bottom of the door, if more the wrap should protect it to the top of the door.

What do you not like about it? It looks like you have the seams about as high as you can get them.

If the water can come up to the sill, then doesn't it also get into the house?

We got a few inches of rain this evening from hurricane Rina. Luckily we are on sand and pretty level with lots of canals.

That's my thought also. It seems like there's some precautions you can take advantage of for the car but the house on the other hand what can you do?
I hope mother nature spares you.

Checked on the work area that is near a major canal that runs threw the city and it is still OK.

Great news. I would have never guessed that there would be that much classic American iron and glass over there. Is that an old Packard behind the Olds F85? That Challenger will be nice when it's done.

Yes a Packard convertible with an olds V8. The F85 vert has original motor with a Japanese auto trans.
