1969 Corvette Driveshaft Loop?
I had bought my car in pieces and seem to have some tell tale signs that it may have been drag raced a fair amount. The first thing I came across were air shocks in the rear, I thought it was odd for a Corvette and thought, I wonder if they ran them to lift the rear slightly for larger tires or slicks.
I now came across something that appears to be a driveshaft loop or stradle of some type, it was in the box of parts that came with the Corvette, I am thinking it mounted, hooked on frame. What do you guys think? The reddish part is the main part, but also had this other half loop in the box with it.
No brand or part number, likely a homemade item.
