I took my car out for a test drive as I haven't completed everything else on the car but thought I would make sure it drove fine. When I let the clutch out it felt very short and the clutch pretty much snapped into engagement. I was thinking I may have to go to a smaller bore master cylinder so the pedal would travel further for the same slave cylinder stroke. Has anyone else run into this problem. What are other people running for clutch set ups.

I am running a large bore master for mine. I have an 06 T56 from a GTO and am using the LS style TO bearing so there is no slave cylinder. I did the large bore so I would have a short stroke for faster clutch action. It took about 5 miles before I was comfortable with it. Now I don't even notice it. Also could be the clutch you are running that engages quickly. You can go to a smaller borecylinder if you want a slower action.
I'm using a clutch master cylinder intended for a 1985 1-ton Chevy truck and a 2001 Camaro slave/throwout bearing. Centerforce clutch. The clutch action is as smooth as a Honda.
That lightweight Fidanza flywheel makes the clutch feel a little more sensitive; the engine will be quick to bog. I hope you have low rear gears to help out.
I have 4.10s in the back. It just feels like a 1/4" of pedal travel is the difference between engaged and unengaged. I looked into the '85 M/C. It's a 11/16 bore compared to the 3/4" bore of the camaro one so it would probably help. There are quite a few 5/8" bore aftermarket ones so i might look into them as well.

You're feeling the effects of that lightweight flywheel. Drive it for awhile and see if you can get used to it before you start swapping out parts. I suspect you will adapt.
I figured that was playing some role in the problem. It just seems excessive although the car isn't tuned very well yet so I'm sure that isn't helping either
