Default Trailing Arm Rebuild

Well my simple task has turned into a larger one. Looks like I will be having my trailing arms rebuilt. Suggestion on who to use and any discounts for forum members?

VanSteel did mine.

They have been in business for years. Probably not the cheapest, but definitely one of the best.

Had my trailing arms, years ago, rebuilt by Tom's Differential. The rebuilding was done by Kenny. Kenny has died at an early age due to a heart attack.
Toms doesn't do rebuild any more, he just sells parts: Exception...Tom still sells custom made and accurately toleranced differential carrier units. (See Youtube.com!!)Other than these "tuned" carrier units, Tom doesn't sell assembled units. I think that all the vendors that get their super strength rear end parts, get these parts from Toms. He has contracted with the original contractors that supplied OEM parts to GM and had these parts replicated in enhanced alloy steel strengths and mechanical strengthening such as moving from 17 spline axles to 31 axles. Uh .Ooh. Toms is not a forum sponsor. However, he's the parts supplier to our forum sponsors.

You could check with Wayne Womble over in New Hill, NC. He's a member of this forum.

Use Bair's Corvettes. Most of the top shops use them.

$349.00 per side with rotors.

I also used Van Steel for my trailing arms and just ordered front suspension parts from them. Never had an issue yet.
