But not new to cars, just finished a very rough 73 Camaro. Picked up a 75 t-top L82 this past weekend. Body is pretty good and interior is pretty bad and it does run, barely. Already have a lot of questions and look forward to being a member. This site was highly recomended by members of the nastyZ28 forum.

This is not my driveway.

Congrads!!! I soon will be in the market for a 70 split bumper or 71-72 camaro. My son (15) wants to work on one with me. Looks like you have your hands full with this new project. EVERYBODY HERE IS AWESOME with help and guidance.

I can see that car a deep cherry red with dark tint windows and those rims all restored with 255/60s all the way around.
Headers with 2.5" exhaust and some Dynomax chamber mufflers.

Your Camaro=you have skills.

The Vette won't be a problem for you.

I finished the Camaro about a year ago and have been bored since. Wife of 49 years and 11 months got tired of me moping around, so she said I could buy another project if it was a corvette and if it was done in the colors she wanted. She wants black exterior and bright red interior. The 75 only offers a dark red, but the 74 shows a bright red.

So my first question is, will 74 interior pieces interchange with a 75? Thanks.

Based on the transformation that beautiful Camaro has, your vette is in very good hands. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress!

How’d you get your wife to do that? I need that suggestion from my wife so I could buy my midyear project!

Not sure on the interchangeablility of the parts. Others can chime in to qualify that.

Welcome to the forum….the car looks to be in qualified hands for restoration!

Welcome aboard. Good to see another 75 being done. As far as the seats go you may want to think about a set out of a Fiero. Minor track mounting mod and they bolt right in and are far more comfortable, just a thought.

Congratulations on the recent purchase and welcome. It's funny and ironic that I was looking for a split bumper Camaro when I found my mistress. I had help. I was Ebay window shopping when my wife walked up behind me, saw the Corvette and said....."Ooooo I like that. We could both enjoy that." I realized quickly that her enthusiasm would make it much easier to explain all of the receipts that are in my 3-ring binder.

I just renewed my membership this morning and I can't think of a better place to belong than here. I've gotten out of more jams and owe more members a beer than I can ever repay.

Enjoy!!!!
