i have the ecklers 10289 on my car and before i knew any better i thought it came from the factory like that.it has the squared off edges and has proven to be quite tough for the 12 or so years it's been there.i tested it myself on a curb and it came through ok.the fit is near perfect and i can't imagine one that would fit better.i do not work for ecklers.

ralphbf,i have only had my car to around 95 briefly to dispose of a fart can and i felt no lightness or lift at all at that speed.by the standard of what some of the guy's on this site are doing that was no test.i'm a few bushings away from going any faster,(a-frame and trailing arm).as far as cooling goes i had an issue but it was a blocked radiator and not an air flow issue.all good now after core wash.i think you'll be happy with it as long as it has not changed in quality after all these years.good luck.
