I've got a 1981 Corvette that pulls to the right whenever accelerating and when getting off the throttle fast it quickly corrects back left requiring a quick twitch of the steering wheel to avoid becoming very familiar with oncoming traffic. All suspension parts have been checked and found to be sound. Would the issue then be in the differential? Any ideas on what the issue or how to solve it would be appreciated.
My 76 was like that in similar ways. I would accelerate hard and chop the throttle and the car would veer off to the left.
One day I noticed my LR tire was showing some premature wear and I checked the alignment. Camber and toe was off in the rear so I corrected it and the problem was gone. All my rear suspension components were newly replaced the year before.
In my case it was just the alignment that changed on me or I did not get it set up right the first time causing the handling problem.

How did you correct it? I thought the rear alignment on the stock suspension was non adjustable in these respects.
Problem solved. One motor mount bolt of three had fallen out of each mount on either side while the others were all loose. This is causing the whole front end of the vehicle twist when throttle is applied as the motor torques on the weakened mounts.
