My '58 doesn't say Stingray on it, so I'm pretty sure it's not.

I'm going to guess most people arguing that a car is something that it is not, are owners of those cars.
Maybe not, but there does seem to be opinion on weather it needs a badge to be considered a stingray. alot of people are saying that the whole c3 series is "stingray" regardless of the badge.

I understand how everyone feels but, are you going to enjoy your car any more or less whatever it's called. Just enjoy it and remember, there is a large percentage of people that would enjoy it no matter.

Are you going to paint a big stingray on the hood like on the old firebirds?

That never occurred to me, sounds interesting, I'll give it some thought.

This actually brings a question I'd like to direct to those of you that feel the Stingray emblem makes a corvette a Stingray and makes the rest some how a lesser model.

Here's your question.

Just what the hell model does the flagged emblem make those corvettes ?

Think long and hard because you can't have it both ways. If your "Stingray" is something special because of a emblem that means that flag emblem must mean there is something special about the corvettes that have them.

I'm one who knows that a 68 is a Stingray for sure, don't screw with me on how it may be spelt either! How do I know, because GM say's so!! I'm not sure of the last year Stingray as I haven;t seem it in print from GM is all. Any one who say's they know better than the people who invented, built, designed, produced and sold these cars is just plain and should not be listen to about anything!!!!! Now if they were just wrong and stand corrected then thats a different person than I;m talking about!!!!!
