Just found these going through a box of parts for my 69.

They are body or trim color. Metal. Measure 1 7/8 inches in diameter.

Any ideas?

I showed them to a friend with a 69 coupe and he didnt recognize the parts.

Those are plates that go in your back storage compartment doors. Plates go in, then the push button latches then the retainer from the underside of the door.

Look at these = HERE

Hi Gary,
John is right!
Here's an installed picture.
Good Luck as you continue to get ready for Flight Judging.

Alan

Yet another thing off my list of things to do.

I went down the list of operations and everything works other than my windshield washers (headlights ok) and factory Alarm.

Sent in the registration paperwork a few days ago.

I am really curious to see how well the car scores...I really never bought it for the whole NCRS thing...but why not. She has so many original components.

I have AIM.

I thought that the rear compartments were already complete.

Actually looks better without the metal rings.

Hi Gary,
I think people are often pleasantly surprised how well their cars do when they're Flight Judged! Having it judged at the Florida Regional will certainly give you realistic/experienced review of your car.
You really need to try get all those Ops points because they're difficult to make up for.
Regards,
Alan

The aim is useless as far as identifying a part. If the rings had a part number I could have looked them up.

If I knew that the 3 rings were trim for the rear compartment I would have already installed them.

Why would I bother looking through 300 pages of diagrams when I could make a quick post on the forum? I had an answer within 2 hours.

I would still be looking page by page now 2 days later and there is a good possibility that I would have skipped over it.

You would have a valid point if my question was what is the proper install location for the courtesy compartment Escutcheons, but it wasnt. I asked for help in identifying a part and your answer did not help.

I wonder if there is a way to search for how many times you have actually replied to someones post with those same exact words. If you dont have any interest in helping, dont bother replying.
