Default Parking brake removal
I am removing all of my interior and now down to this assembly. What is the proper way to remove the cable from the assembly? The AIM shows a spring underneath holding tension. Does this need to be released first? Thanks

Hi Dave,
Yes, the adjuster and spring under the car needs to be loosened to get the slack you'll need to remove the cable from the lever mechanism.

Does the ebrake handle have to come out? If it's not a have to case, leave it installed.
