Default Which Gauge Size?

I am working on my '74 to make a decent driver out of. I am currently rebuilding the interior and I want to install aftermarket gauges.

Being I have never replaced gauges on anything, are there certain sizes to get for speedo and tach? I am going to put them in the factory speedo and tach locations, obviously, just wanted to make sure if there was a certain size to get or are they all the same size for those two?

Thanks again and I love this amazing site....Pics to come in near future as well....

Why not keep the stock set up? They already fit; nothing additinal to buy.

If you do a forum search on autometer gauges you will find a lot of postings from members who have done this. Most I believe make a small bezel to fill in around the after market gauges because the stock gauges are a bit bigger in diameter. Good Luck! It's always fun working behind the dash!
