Body bonding material
What material was used to bond panels? I found it used to bound the metal header support to the body and this picture is the front fender that has come loose from the innner finder.. Not asking about the outer body panels. This is dark gray and still somewhat soft. Thanks (75)

Don't know what was used originally or if it is still available.
To bond new panels when we restored my '71 we used "Marine-Tex" which is available at most any automotive paint supply store. It's quite expensive but works great.
