Default Shipping parts question

I am trying to ship carpet across the country and I was wondering what do others use to ship oversize boxes like this? I tried to got hrough the normal places but they were giving rates of like $90 and I know it doesn't cost that much. Unfortunately everyone is closed for the holidays and I have to leave the country for a few days.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've had good luck with Greyhound, shipped a hood to Wisconsin for about $65.
The only thing is, is that you need to bring it to the terminal and it needs to be picked up at the terminal on the buyers end.

Depending on where the carpet set is going, it should only cost around 28-40 dollars by UPS. Go to UPS.com and you can get a shipping quote. If it is a carpet set for 1968-1982 the box dimensions on the original box would have been 37 length, 10 width, and 18 height and the weight around 20lbs depending on what year.

I just guessed at a zip code in texas and got 33.74 USD * If you have the original box this should be close to the correct cost. If you don't have the original box I would try to find one around that size.. the carpet will fit in there but it is pretty tight.

No you sold it to me but I never used it and someone else needs it. I just want to get him the cheapest shipping that I can.
