Looking at a 76 coupe. Looks all original. I'll find out more about the birdcage once I get a better look. But assuming it looks solid and there's no frame rust, what is a good price.
Here's what I know:
350 ci
4spd Manual
air
tilt steering
92k miles
blue outside, camel inside
General condition looks to be a 6 out of 10.
Appears to have been garage kept, but not for sure.
Registered and driven now? "Runs" but only in the driveway? Dead but looks nice enough that it might run? NOM? Mods/missing/incorrect parts anywhere? Good shocks/brakes/rubber? Recent work of any sort? What is the owner asking...................
The car's not for me. I'm just trying to give good advice to a family member.
Here's what I know now:
1) Needs full interior redone
2) Needs suspension repair & replace all rubber
3) Original engine needs rebuilt
So if the car can be bought fo $3.5, add another $7 for above assuming doing all work by self. That leaves $10.5 in the car. What would it be worth at that point.
I think the car is a good project car. It just depends on what the owner wants to do with it. Fix it and sell or fix and drive.

Frankly, I think you could probably find a nice 76 that needs very little to nothing for 10.5 K. I would not rush into this without taking a really hard look at it. These cars can get pretty expensive pretty fast. Go into it with your eyes wide open. Things usually cost more than you think and take longer than you think. I know this from experience. Best of luck!
