header gasket question

I have a copper gasket to install on my driver's side, to match the one previously installed on the passenger side. The problem is the passenger one was installed almost a year ago at a show after a gasket blowout on the way to a show 300 miles away. Anyway, for the life of me I can't remember, does the beaded part of the gasket face the header, or does it face the cylinder head?

Hmmm, good question. Do you remember the manufacturer, by any chance? Maybe you can go on their website and find out.

Mr Gasket. didn't think to look on their website, but I will. I did check the packaging, and it didn't say.
