coupe side window loose

coupe side window loose
the back edge of my drivers side window can move up/down by hand while the front edge stays still
moves about 1/4" total
when closing the door with the window in the up position it sometimes just catches the t-top striker plate
what do i need to fix it, just the rollers, a track repair kit or something else?
a link to show pics of what part/s needed would be great
is it a hard job to fix?

Hi rr,
It SOUNDS like the the stop in the rear track is high, so that the front stop is stopping the window, but you can pull the rear further up with your hand.
The interior door panel needs to come off to see what's going on.

Do It Right
Before you take off the panell to repair the loose window get new rollers for the window transmition and tracks . Take it all out and clean and lube everything that moves . You nwill be glad you did it right the first time .
If your door handles are in need of replacement they are easy to change while you have the window tracks out . If you buy handles get the GM Restoration ones ( not the cheap $ 30.00 ones ) . I bought my handles from Trim Parts and they fit well and the chrome is nice.
