What is this switch?

Can't seem to figure out what this chrome switch is in my '71 Coupe - right above the seat belt light. It clicks when you move it back and forth, but it doesn't seem to do anything. It's not mentioned in the owner's manual. I'm sure it's something obvious, but what??

It opens/closes the flapper behind the two air vents above it

On my car, it activates the explosive bolts holding the T-top in, then ignites the rocket propelled seat. I don't use near as much as I thought I would.

Yes, it opens and close those A/C vents. If it is connected.

I replaced a light switch cover in my gun room (yes, I have a gun room) with a red 'emergency shut off switch' cover plate. People look at it...put their finger out....draw back and look at me in hesitation. I just say "try it....see what happens".....nobody ever touches it....
