Default Side Exhaust Question

My Dad passed away recently. He had NOS C3 side exhaust in his attic. There are pipes for big and small block and 1 set of covers in the gm boxes. What is this stuff worth???

One complete set, big block or small, is worth four figures. The remaining pipes are also valuable. Check the For Sale section here and other places to see what people have been asking.

Be grateful your dad socked these away.

Hi S,
I suggest you contact Chuck Berge. He's the NCRS 68-69 Team Leader.
These pipes and covers will be worth the most to owners of 69 cars that had the N-14 option.
He should be able to give you a good idea what they're worth once you describe what you have, and he sees your picture.

Regards,
Alan

I would be interested in buying your BB pipes if you want to sell them separately from the SB pipes and covers.

The NOS pipes are still avail through one of the vendors, but I think the retail asking price is too high when you can get replacements for $400 a set shipped.

Your Dad was great to keep those sets intact. You are going to make somebody's day.

Get a bunch of opinions, check ebay for recently sold auctions etc then come up with a price that is fair to you and the buyer....there will be a lot of people who will be out to buy them from you cheap, only to resell them for a bunch of money.

Mike hit the nail in the head for price, but I bet others here can give you an even more exacting figure....additional pictures will also help.

I appreciate all the feedback. I know a little about Corvette parts, but not enough to make sure I get the most for the parts. I deal with a lot of drag race people in my line of work. I understand that most people are on a budget and want the best deal thet can get(I am no different) The fact is, I have some parts and vehicles of my Dads that I am going to sell for my Mom. She is on a fixed income, and the money from this stuff goes in the bank for her to live on. She's in good shape for now, but she still is on a budget and needs to have a cushion.
