hi and how are you? i have a 82 corvette and i want to add a spoiler/wing.
will this spoiler with it dimensions and little fabrication mounts/bolt on to my corvette
The spoiler end to end is 50 3/16" post to post is 32 3/4" and hole to hole is 29 5/16"
a spoiler may, and i stress MAY, work on the pre 1980 rear bumper, but with the factory kickup wing from the factory 80-82, any more just spoils(pardon the pun) the look of the car

Your car already has a spoiler. If you put another spoiler on it, it will just look stupid. Kind of like wearing two hats. As you go thru your daily life, you see plenty of people wearing hats, right? And you don't really think to much about it, do you? What if you saw someone wearing a hat on top of another hat, you would think it was pretty odd, wouldn't you? Don't put a spoiler on a spoiler, and don't wear a hat on a hat. On a related note, don't wear suspenders and a belt at the same time. 'nuff said.

superbird is one idea. your first vette ? or the last ?
Who makes the spoiler you want? Ask them if it will fit your Corvette.
Did you get your hood aligned?
thanks for your concern about my hood hinge. no i haven't fix the problem. i decided to take the car the way it is to the guy who will do my entire body work and paint the vehicle to deal with that. this spoiler is made for a Toyota scion.
i have seen 82 with added spoiler and it looks good
Just a thought if you want to mount a "wing" in addition to the spoiler that is already a part of the rear bumper cover depending on what it weights and if it has any real ability to function it may have to be supported from underneath. For what it's worth the Greenwood rear wings for the C4 Corvette are mounted to the frame not the deck lid.
You can also add me to the ever growing list of "no way"!

OK, man, here's the bottom line. If you want to put ketchup on your steak, go ahead. I wouldn't want ketchup on my steak, but if you like it that way, go nuts. Save some for me, 'cuz I would like some on my fries. You shouldn't just go by the measurements to see if it fits, tho. You should actually get your mitts on the wing, mock it up to the car, and decide if you like the look or not. And just in case you think I'm some crazy old man, talking about steak and ketchup, it's a metaphor. (the part about the fries is just me being goofy) Happy trails,
ACI and Ecklers do make spoilers for these cars but they dont impress me. Aci has several. If you do add a spoiler or wing your options could be to raise the existing spoiler a few inches, remove it and add a small low profile wing, even add a c4 rear fascia like some others have done. After the spoiler you will be wanting a custom hood, front end and as the list gets longer more and more. Best thing to do is just find a custom c3 greenwood or widebody car. Its your car so enjoy it. Heres a link to my custom 77 with the Daytona widebody kit. Also there is a1980 Daytona for sale on the makoshark2 forum for about 4,500. http://daytimedaytonapics.shutterfly.com/#n_3

At ease, folks. This post is not about the pros or cons of adding a wing. The OP does not seek opinions on that matter. He asked only whether the wing he wants to use would fit.
