Default New purchase - 1980

I just closed the deal on a 42K mile 1980 - L48/auto. The seller is the original owner and still had the window sticker and service records back to the selling dealer. Interior is seldom seen blue with cloth, and is like new. Original paint is a bit thin, but still shows nicely. I'll scan the window sticker and post later. Here are a few of the pictures used in the ad - I'll post more when I get it home on Monday:

You are one-lucky-dude to find a car in that conditon and still 'all original'. Take care of it; enjoy it. And, give the previous owner a ride in it every once-in-a-while. I'll bet he hated parting with it, but couldn't take care of it anymore, and knew it needed to find a new "home".

Thanks!

Here's some info from the window sticker:
Dealer: Long Chevrolet, Elmhurst, IL
Options:
AU3 - Power Door Locks $140
C49 - Rear Defog $109
K30 - Cruise control $123
N90 - Aluminum wheels $407
QXH - 255/60/15 tire option $426.16
UM2 - AM/FM/8-track $155
U75 - Power antenna $56
U81 - Dual rear speakers $31
Colors:
28L 'Corvette Dark Blue Metallic'
29C 'HDD2 Blue Cloth Bucket'

Total cost with options and destination charge was $14,785

Interesting the big tire upgrade was so expensive.

I have a PDF scan of the window sticker if anyone would like to see what it looks like. Photobucket won't let me link a PDF. Send me a PM with your email and I can forward. I tried to take a picture of it, but it was hard to see/read.

Congrats - good to see another C3 in the "garden state". And, while I can confirm it was 66 degrees in NJ today and 62 yesterday, can you confirm when those pictures were taken - those pictures with blooming flowers and trees weren't taken today were they?

Very nice! I have two favourite years of C3s: 1969 and 1980. That is a very pretty car.
