Default Vette-less... for now

I sold my '81 this week. A little sad to see it go but like me, everyone is always making their C3 better so you may find me in a '69 - '72 later down the road that someone else has put some money and love in to. I used the sale proceeds to pay off my student loan once and for all and put a little in the savings account. I am truly 100% debt free now and must admit, it is a very good feeling.

The car sold much quicker than I thought it would. I put it up for sale late Friday night 1/27. Throughout the weekend I got a fair amount of interest both locally and across the state as well as a few out of state calls. The biggest selling points were the fact it had the T5 swap done as well as the Edelbrock EFI. A few people did email just to tell me how much they loved the chrome plated wheels. Monday evening a local guy and his wife came to look at it, negotiated a little, and settled on a very fair price. Our local credit unions were super easy to deal with and the whole thing was just meant to be. The buyer is a former 3rd Gen F-body guy and was thrilled to get it. Its going to a good home and there is a good chance I will see it around town. I told him about the forums and encouraged he join and post up on here.

I want to say thank you to all of the members on here for all of your knowledge, time, and support. I will continue to lurk around and post up when I can contribute. This is a great community and definitely one I want to stay a part of. Thank you again to everyone.

A few last looks.
