Default production number - export/canada

I know there are endless pages for production numbers, but does anyone know how many for made for export or canada?

I know with the C5/C6 - they started to keep track of pro Z49

There was a guy a while back named George Zapora (GM Vintage) that may be able to help you with the production numbers of Corvettes that went to dealers upon entry into Canada.

GM Canada has the numbers and details on all years of Corvette production.

Not to steal the thread but what were the differences in the cars that were shipped. The judging manual (78) mentions RPO Z49 for Canadian Base Equipment but what were they?

Might have been kilometers and other metric measurements. Aren't front plates required up North?

Front plates vary from province to province, same as the US. Front plate was called out on RPO VK3.

The requirements of RPO Z49 can vary dramatically from year to year, and it is not necessarily the only RPO required for Canadian cars. My '73 also has W84 (additional gas for delivery) that in later years became combined with Z49.

We have our own lighting, smog, gauge, language, instrumentation and safety/bumper standards that sometimes don't align with those in the US.

As far as exports are concerned, the one interesting feature I know to tell an export Corvette (during the 1968 thru 1971 years anyway) is the different Ident No sequence on the Corvette Order Copy from the typical Ident No sequence seen on domestic ordered cars.

We also got an additional round sticker with a maple leaf on the drivers door above the GM blue sticker.

Do you remember what year they started putting those on?
