Default New Paint`````````````````````

I am having my 76 repainted and the shop called today to tell me it is ready. Only problem is I'm out of town and it will be Friday before I can pick it up.I also removed everything on the car before I took it in so it will take a few days to get it back together. The paint was not really in bad shape but the normal chip here and there plus I had a hose under the hood burst causing some small bubbles in the paint. Other than that, there was very minimum body work needed. The paint shop only had the car for 3 weeks but the weather has been nice here and I can't wait to drive it again.

Shoot some pics at the shop and some after it is back together. Before and after shots are the best!

I picked up the vette late this afternoon. It was almost dark and a light rain but I got it loaded on a trailer. I guess considering there was absolutely nothing on the car such as mirrors, lights and everything else that should be there, It looked pretty good. I will take some pictures tomorrow before I begin to put it back together. I have been so busy at work and having to travel, its probably going to take awhile but it should be fun.

Just a few pictures before I start adding all of the body trim back on. It was cold and windy for us today so I didn't spend a lot of time putting things back together. When I got the car years ago, it was dark brown with dark brown interior. It needed painting and I wanted something other than dark brown but something that would go with the dark brown seats. The color really looks good in person and especially in the sunlight. I tried to cheap out by keeping the front bumper but obivously from the pictures, I'm going to have to replace it. I will post more pics as I get everything back together.

Looks good, and i think it's a great color choice to go with brown interior.

It looks great. A wise color choise to go with the brown interior that you won't be tired of in a couple of years because it's no longer "in fashion".

Default New paint.......

It took over 6 weeks but I finally got the vette back together after getting it painted. Between work and the while I'm at it syndrome it's finally done. I figured while everything was taken apart, I would refresh the interior. Now I can finally drive it.
