Anybody runnin this size? It has the same exact height as stock and i don't want to (can't) lower my car any. I have a driveway with a not so gentle approach lip the spoiler drags as it is. I am getting 17x8 wheels but want to know of any fitment issues with the 255.50-17. Shouldn't be any, thanks!!
Cool. My search is over. Tuesday I will be ordering a set of TT 2.1's in 17x8 with 255/50-17 Nitto 555 Tires from Wheelsforless.
Make sure you post a buncha pics! My car looks very similar to yours, and I am very interested in putting the same wheel/tire combo on mine, wanna see what it looks like.

Keep the shiny side up!

I am finishing up the addition of an L88 scoop as well, so I will shoot pics of the wheels on with no hood. Then shoot some in a few weeks when the hood is painted and back on...
I have 17" TTIIs sitting in their boxes and have been holding out for BFGoodrich to decide if they are going to make 255/50/17s again for over a year now. If they don't by summer, I'm going to have to pick another tire...

Right now I have Fuzion ZRi 255/50/17 tires that I need to replace, but Fuzion doesn't make the ZRi tires anymore! I am not too happy about that because they have been excellent tires, but I am replacing them with some Nitto NT555's. I have done the research, and the Nitto's are the same width as the Fuzion's. Funny thing about tires, even though they are called 255's by the manufacturers, some are actually narrower than others. The Fuzion's are 10.4" wide, while the Nitto's are 10.43" wide.
Thnk2mch, i work for a tire dealer n i checjed wuth the bfg rep. his story is that the new g force comp tire is being released in april so theproduction on the comp tire your waiting for was put on hold so that they could produce enough tires for the new release of the g force. unfortunity the new tire will not be made in the 255/50-17. however i was assured that the comp will be available in mid april to may. so theres still hope. i am waiting as well but i did order the torq thrust polished wheels today. great price and free shipping.

Thanks rod7515,
Actually, I emailed BFG last week again and received the following responses (pretty much what you said):
"We apologize the BF Goodrich G-Force KDW tires have been discontinued and to be replaced by the G-Force Sport Comp 2, which will be available in April."
"The BFG g-Force T/A Sport Comp-2 will not be offered in size 255/50ZR17. We apologize we are unable to accommodate your request."
