Mine is all boxed up and packed away awaiting restoration completion. However if I remember correctly, doesn't the **** unscrew? Isn't there a very small sloted screw holding the **** in place??

There's a tiny screw in the center of the ****. Mine is a flat (slot) head. Need a small, small screwdriver. Like a jewelers one.

Hi 2001,
There's also a tiny 'sleeve' that slips on the time setting rod to fill the gap between the **** and the gauge bezel. Be careful you don't lose it.
I agree... slotted screw.
Regards,
Alan

Truth be told, you can be careful and still lose it. Been there, done that.
