I received a copy of my build sheet for my 82 from the National Corvette Museum and it gives an order date of 2-21-81. My door sticker is very hard to read but I can make out 03/07/?? in the build date box. Did they start making 82's that early in 81?
Your trim tag on the driver's door post has a code for the month and week of the month your car was assembled. February 81 seems a bit early to be able to order an 82, but stranger things have happened.
For an 82, 03/07/?? on your certification label can only be March 7, 1982.
Post a pic of your build sheet from the NCM.

The printed date on a build sheet is the estimated date of production rather than an order date and it would not include the year. I'm curious what you're referring to on the document as the order date and whether its a build sheet.
