Default Lower balance

Need advice and help on replacing the front lower valance on 70 vette. Can't find a thread in the subject.

Hi G,
Are you referring to the fiberglass valance that's part of the front clip or
the black plastic spoiler that bolts to the valance?
I ask because the first involves bodywork and paint, and the second is pretty easy.

I'm sure most of the suppliers have them, here is a link to CA - http://www.corvetteamerica.com/cf/di...d%3A%20valance

It's replaced like all the other body panels, and is attached with bonding strips.

If you are thinking of replacing it yourself, there are some books and videos that teach the process.

My 72 happens to be in the shop having a new one put on, because I jumped a curb!

Do you have a link to the videos. Jd vette has the valance for a 100.00. Can you reuse the strips.
