Need alternator P/N reference info
Can someone provide me with a website that cross-references GM alternator part numbers to their applications (make/model/year)?
A friend has a '69 Nova (4 cyl '153' engine/auto tranny...yes, it is factory original) with alternator P/N 1100142, date code 4D23. It is a 63A alternator, and I think the Nova originally came with a 42A unit. I suspect the alternator is a rebuilt one that replaced the original many years ago.
I'd like to know what P/N alternator should be on that car.
