AC Climate control switch operational question
I think I have a problem with my new AC Climate control switch. I put a reface kit on along with a new AC panel Blower switch and a new AC Panel compressor switch. For those of you familiar with these switches that are attached to the side of the Control panel, when you “wheel” the dials, the switches have points that open and close. They seem to work correctly on the smaller Compressor Switch but they continually stay closed on the Blower Switch. I think they are supposed to open when the (left) dial is moved to the “OFF” position – but the internals don’t seem to allow the switch to move far enough to “pop” the points open. I even opened up one of the mounting screws to position the switch to allow even more adjustment but the points still stay continually closed – which doesn’t make sense to me. Anyone familiar with this switch and its operation? It's the "longer switch" attached to the panel.

You have to re-position and/or bend the switch so that it works properly. Those switches are very sensitive and can 'make' or 'break' early or late, if not exactly right. You want the switching pattern to occur just as the A/C logic table indicates, or it won't be right.
