Dyeing the Interior
I just re-dyed the interior of my car 1979 (Oyster over Oyster) after cleaning it real good with simple green and water. My question is should I put a layer of clear over it so it does not get all worn out or just leave it as is. I was thinking a matte clear so it does not get all shiny? What do you all think?

Protect it with "Nu-Vinyl" or "Meguiar's for Plastic", even if the seats are leather. Don't use stuff like 'Armor-All' 
which will build up a gooey layer and could actually break down the interior surfaces.
I've used this stuff for over 30 years....and it's fabulous on interior components.
