Power window switch orientation in console

I'm putting power windows in my 72. The switches in the console can be put in either direction. Does anyone have a pic of the underside of the console? Here's a pic of the way I have them now. I don't know if they're correct.
Another help would be... Which way do you push the switch for the window to go up... and I'll figure it out.

If there really is a choice, I would orient them so that when the switch is pushed pointing up the slope of the consol, the window goes up.

on my 79 you pull the switch to go up and push to go down

Pull 'back' for UP; push 'forward' for DOWN. Look at the orientation of the sockets for those switches. The way they are positioned should be the way the switch needs to be oriented.
