I have hagerty now.Great company but very low medical coverage.5,000 max medical payments. Is there another collector car insurance with better coverage. It dosent take long to exceed 5,000 while in the hospital these days.I have 100,000 on my daily driver.I hate to take out another policy in conjunction with my present one just to get better medical coverage.
i had hagarty for a few years and switched to NCM insurance overage. check with adam boca and see what he can offer for you. in my case i was able to get more coverage on the car for about the same money i was paying in increased towing etc coverage costs (not needed in my case) on the hagarty policy
Did.Emailed ncm. Most medical coverage I can get is 10,000.If I get to driving more often Im going to take another policy out with state farm to supplement my hagerty policy. It dosent take much to get up to 10,000 in hospital bills.

Haggerty is by far the best insurance Co. I have ever dealt with. If you want car insurance get car insurance, if you want medical get medical.
Each one is a specialty & Haggerty focuses on C A R S not health !!! I think that once you try & fiind one that appears good on both & doesnt specialize you might be reducing the original idea of great collector car insurance & sacrificing to include better medical !
it is just a question of exactly what medical is. if someone is injured and it is your fault, then your liabilty protection kick in at much higher limits, if you or a passenger are injured and your fault, then this coverage can kick in. if you have no medical insurance and you injure yourself, then this can kick in. some state require this and as a result it is offered at a low limit. your liability coverage and your primary medical insurance cover you mostly.

We too are a Collector Car Specialist much like the company mentioned above. We do not sell health insurance or standard auto insurance...plus we know Corvettes better than anyone out there since we are the National Corvette Museum.
If you have adequate health insurance and your state doesn’t require this coverage, then medical payments coverage may be unnecessary.* *However, if your health plan requires a deductible, medical payments coverage may be able to help pay it.* This coverage may also pay for other items not covered by your health insurance, such as nursing services, dental expenses and funeral expenses.

I have Hagerty... Great to work with... I have my own med coverage with my work.
But I only had 100k-300k coveage for an accident...
Let me tell you that if you have an accident and hurt someone else 100-300 isnt enough these days... I KNOW.. SO keep that in mind when getting ins....100k can get eaten up fast in med bills... I now have 250k-500k
I just got my renewal...22k agreed 393 a year......and this is after they just paid out 100k on an accident I had.
I'm keeping the hagerty policy just taking out another one that has better medical.I have good health insurance where I work but its not going to cover a passenger or the othere passengers in the othere car.
