Default Removing 69 passenger lower dash panel?

O/k, I removed the obvious screws and am looking at the AIM manual, but it is not even loose at this point.

Can someone help as I must be missing something simple?

Screws in the door jamb also out, and the panel is the one with the map pocket. But, it is like it is glued in! Even the door jamb part will not budge.

Mine didn't drop down until I removed the Kick Panels.

Hi drc,
Wheat is right, the panel is still held firmly in place by the corners at the kick panel, and the transmission console.
The top of the panel needs to be eased out from under the upper dash pad and then lifts off the 2 corner connections.
Also, the the astro-vent duct connection in the lowere right corner holds it too.
Be gentle, if it's the original it's fragile.
Regards,
Alan
