straight axel conversion for c-3?

Default straight axel conversion for c-3?

is there any places out there that have bolt in conversions so you dont tear out your rear end with a 600+ lb tq stroker big block comming off the line? and not looking very smart??

I have never heard of a bolt in conversion but there are a few folks that did convert to straight. here is one of the threads.

That's sexy. Looks like it cost ~$5k. Not that I have the power to justify it now, but in a perfect world, some day I might.

If you net out the cost of trailing arm and rear diff rebuild/re-gear it looks a little more more sensible.

I would have, but they were more expensive in similar condition. I love my '81, but I'd trade even for one now in similar condition.

ive a question...ive a 496 in my 69 vette,the weiand stealth intake will fit under thr L-88 scoop with a 3 inch k&n drop base air cleaner...my question is...does anybody make an intake manifold for the peanut port heads that will fit under the hood too? i love the 265 cc oval post heads from afr...gobs of flow,look at them? im running an 625 roller hyd. my shift points are at 5500/5800 rpm and i feel this is a hot ticket item...i want all my power in the 2500/5500 range
