I'm not that brave. And that is not cold. I lived in Whitehorse when I was very young. We had lung chill alerts anounced by military radio (no TV then): do not exert yourself at -50*F temps or your lungs would freeze. But I guess those days are long gone.

Thanks for the offer Paul, always a pleasure.
Pump seems to be fine, several people have the same arrangement so I went ahead and installed it today after work. Cursed all the way, who's sick joke was it to put that much stuff in the way!
Rubber lines are on, just need to deal with the pump/carb, not sure to bend one or buy one. Pretty hard to bend and do a nice job with the motor and everything in place, likely just buy one.

Going down to -6 tonight so I actually turned the heat back on in the shop
Take care

I know how you feel Paul...up here in cottage country, the ice just left the bay this weekend!!! I already have 250 kms on my odometer.....and it's not even the end of March.
We still have a lot of sand on the side streets, but the main highways are free and clear.....have even seen some motorcyclists out already....so I guess I'm not the only crazy one.....happy motoring.
