replacement window fitting?
srry guys I know nothing about replacing windows but I just had a drivers side window replaced on my 79 vette when i took her in to have the bumper fixed. The body shop guy informed me that this window fitted the same as the old 1, but it appears to me that at the back of window near the rear post the window actually has about a 1/4 gap there on the top. I never noticed this on my old window, is there an adjustment that he can make to this.............oh btw the weather stripping is worn and torn on this window

The assembly instruction manual (AIM) has a page of text with diagrams describing how the factory workers set the windows. You could probably close the gap a little, but until the weatherstripping is replaced, you could be spinning your wheels.
